Admissions

Kingfisher School is a Special School that is part of The Propeller Academy Trust.  The planned admission number (PAN) for the school is 96.  All pupils admitted to the school will be the subject of an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and have Severe Learning Difficulties or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.

The school is open for pupils from 9am until 3pm.  Many of our pupils are transported to school provided via Oxfordshire County Council transport services.  

While parents are always welcome to make an appointment to view the school, all admissions are managed by the Local Authority and not the school themselves. 

Due to the high number of parents, carers and other professionals who wish to visit the school, we offer 'open evenings' where you can see the school to get a feel for the environment. As taking a lot of parents around the school can be disruptive to the pupils' day, visits to the school are made after the pupils have departed.
